Yes but these keep structure hence you can neatly organise them in a bag or suit case to maximize space as well as keep clothing rolled up.
And plastic just encourages the smell to breed more?
I use zip-up washing bags from Daiso when travelling. Benefits: doubles as a washing bag, takes up minimal extra space/no wasted space.
