Audi at ALDI only $199, bargain! - https://scontent-syd2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/p960x960/1219…
Check your spelling of Porsche.
Hmmm, Aldi are making cars now? :)
Since when was Google Maps a deal.
Waiting for RS6 Avant to be a special buy
Excellent taste sir
And if playing at home, the McLaren Tour should be done at 21°c ;)
Mercedes is one of the best ones I've been to in person
Porsche, also in Stuttgart was a little meh in comparisonI agree, Mercedes probably have the most interesting History in the Automotive industry. The VW museum is also great.
yes, love the VW one too, in Wolfsburg.
Yep, the Mercedes Museum is a great museum full stop. It's funny that after 3 hours of showing you how awesome Mercedes is, they dump you in a dealership.
Agreed wholeheartedly. As Jeremy Clarkson says “All Porches look the same.”
Mercedes-Benz have a huge range of vehicles and arguably invented the car.
The Porsche factory tour is good when visiting the museum, but yea the Mercedes one is awesome. Toyota museum in Nagoya is another really good one.
Meh. I was the opposite. I enjoyed the Porsche Museum more than the Mercedes one.
I also thought Autostadt was a letdown although the factory tour was good.
Different strokes.
Yeah the Autostadt is a bit lame, but the VW Museum is about 2km away. Also there's a free Jagermeister tour in Wolfenbuttel, not far from Wolfsburg.
Any Goggomobil?
Not the Dart!
How do you spell that?
G
thanks, didnt think i'd ever visit these but now i can
The Mazda Museum in Hiroshima is basically one room, and you need to book a tour. But it's free and has the Le Mans Winning 787B.
yea 3 pedestrian cars. i was expecting some cool shit
Bit of a shame as it was a decent tour in real life, decent spread of cars and some manufacturing process info. And some time gazing over the production line too.
Couldnt manage to find the production line on the virtual tour, but the rest of tour is there, just need to go to the minimap and jump from the initial start spot
Ah, lame. Not too surprised, they wouldn't allow photos.
Yeah wtf is with that. So disappointed
No Its not. I was there in person 6 months ago. the virtual tour is a bit wierd, but after the initial 3 cars click on the map down the bottom and jump to the next location. It was like that in the actual tour also - had to go through a passageway
I took quite a few photos in the Museum back in November 2019
https://www.craftypics.com/Cars/Mazda-Museum-Hiroshima787B, I could listen to the brap brap brap, all day!
Soichiro Honda had quite a life!
https://fleximize.com/careers-of-the-founders/ great little read about some of the world's biggest founders.
Thank you @skinnerr for this awesome site!!!
I can't give this enough upvotes
You sir, are a god. Thank you so much for the links.
I work in transport and auto. I miss my old life.
Where's the subaru love!?
Was surprised by the skoda museum…very sleek
let me think what I plan to drive today ….. Porshe or Merc
Pretty cool that you can hop into the Pagani Huuurrrgghh in the Pagani Museum. Might be the busiest instrument cluster I've ever seen though
No bmw?
Couldn't find the toilet in McLaren centre. :(
It's the lake out the front
Bloody googlemap wouldn't let me swim there.
I visited Mercedes-Benz museum and Porsche museum when I came to Stuttgart, Germany in 2013. They are really awesome in reality.
There is also a virtual tour of our own Australian National Motor Museum
https://artsandculture.google.com/streetview/national-motor-…Thanks! My dad loves cars, and he is so bored to stay at home, I'm sure he will enjoy this a lot. Cheers.
What is this flash player for porsche? I thought flash was basically dead for 10 years.
It's funny how the 1990s models Toyotas in the museum are the favourite ozjunker cars still being driven today.
Love the typo for Aldi…
