Only normally $1.80ish when on supermarket special.

    • Why are Tim tams being price jacked. Doesn’t make sense considering it’s not like they are anti bacterial biscuits or something.

Tim Tam is now owned by Private Equity, so I expect this trend to continue.

        • OH thats a shame.

      • They are delivering it to your house though.

        • Yes, for a fee!

        • Delivering it has nothing to do with their price, as they are just price matching whatever woolies etc does at the time. My question was why has timtams in general gone up in price but it seems like its because its been sold off, i hadnt realised that.

@lonewolf: I would expect demand for Tim tams for all those stuck at home would be only slightly behind TP.
I am surprised there was any discounting below RRP at all.

Also chocolate for manufacture goods is all imported and AUD is in the toilet.

Wouldn't it be easier to just buy it from Woolies for the same price?

    • Especially considering it'll probably take 2 weeks to be delivered.

    • +13

I wouldn't say it's easier than clicking a mouse and having it delivered to your doorstep, but its probably quicker.

    • Not everyone shops at Woolies.

      • +2

Probably a lot more that have Amazon Prime.

i only buy TT when $1.80 or $2.00

I'd feel guilty ordering this, it's so wasteful for my mailman to drive to my place, just to deliver a $2 box of Tim Tams for my fat ass to eat.
Scale this for everyone else and multiply it to the other stupid little individual deliveries like $3 bottle of hand sanitiser or $2 stick of roll-on deodorant. This is why the planet's dying, not because we're not getting off coal/oil fast enough, it's because humans are so wasteful in everyday life.

Make it worth his time and order double coat.

      • its almost like delivering 2 regular packets of tim tams

I had this attitude before I needed toilet paper and soap. Now I have an Amazon Prime trial, toilet paper and soap, and no longer know what to think.

    • This is my normal rant and totally agree. Woolworths are doing these for the same price at the moment. Just get them with your normal shop.

    • +1

Agreed. At least hand sanitiser is a necessity. But getting a pack of Tim Tams delivered isn't.

      • Well if you already getting your groceries delivered. Why not have packet or two of timtams in it? amiright.jpg

  • Whatever guys. I shop at Aldi and Amazon. Whenever a special comes up on Amazon price matching Colesworth I buy it. It keeps people such as delivery drivers and warehouse staff in work, keeps me out of the shops and helps my dollar go further.
It's not like they are sending my Tim tams on their own in a truck lol
And all the packaging is recycling, and as others have mentioned, good toys for the kids for a little while.
    Neg away.

I think auspost is getting bombarded as it is and I'm sure Amazon have increased work as it is too. My mail have all been delayed by 2x expected delivery time on most items.

    • Make sure to put seperate orders in, one after another. /s

    Good, more jobs.

  • Arnott's assorted creams are $4.50 atm too.

  • It's cheaper for me to buy it from supermarket than having to go to post office (every (profanity) single time) to just collect my parcel.

  • Notice all order minimums are gone for all groceries?
