Seems like a good deal for a decent smartwatch. Stumbled across this price which seems cheaper than almost anywhere by some margin.

I checked with Amazon and they confirmed the 266 version is the 2020 second gen version. I suppose I can return if it turns out not to be the case.
Don't get the first gen.
That doubling of RAM really helps.
First gen is laggy as.
Have you used it? I heard its a bit crap, but heard mixed opinions as well. I hate laggy tech.
I've got the first gen and can confirm it's seriously laggy and wouldn't recommend it. I really wish they'd just sold it with the extra RAM to start with.
thanks for the review. yeah i imagine how much extra $ cost to add 512mb ram.. cant be more than $10 i think. so why they didn't… mystery
That hasnt been my experience with it over the last year with it. It can lag at times, but I noticed this when I started installing more apps and more watch faces on it. Otherwise the apps already installed on it suffice for me in general so I don't really need anything else on it. YMMV.
@Trishool: The solution to 95% of the issues I face is regular rebooting. I think Wear OS just has serious memory leak problems, so the longer stuff is running, the less free RAM is available, leading to lag, not registering actions, etc. It's a very good watch, but with extra RAM, it'd be a great one.
@Nukkels: You might be right, as one of the things I do (to reduce recharging) is turn my watch off at the end of the day. This could be why lag is less during my usage.
Custom ROM FTW.
According to the product page, it is the 1GB version. I ordered one the other day based upon that. When it arrives, I am really hoping that is the case or I will be returning most likely.
I did see that, but I looked at the date the product was first available and it was 2018. So based on that, I figured it was the 512mb version. But you cant lose I guess. Let us know what you get.
Did you recieve this watch yet? Was it the correct version?
If anyone was looking at this I contacted Mobvoi via Amazon, they have confirmed this to be 512mb version.
just fyi
