Whyyyyyy
You're comparing Apples with Bananas to put a 1080p projector against a 4K TV
Why not a 4k projector? I have a 4k Optoma and have set it up in a 135" screen in a dedicated cinema room with stepped flooring like in a real cinema. I've also installed 5.2.2 dolby atmos sound system. I didn't spend a fortune on anything, but i'm still happy with the overall result. Its a much better experience watching a movie on a 135" screen than a 75" TV in my opinion. More immersive.
How much did you spend on this and how big is your room?
Anything with gaming is obviously better
Get an ALR Screen for about that much, and then spend 2.5k on a xiaomi laser projector.
Projectors are only good if you can control the light. A good screen can help, but they are not cheapies.
That benq projector is a beast, especially for gaming - almost no input lag… i would go the projector for the gaming if you really want the big screen size.
I'd recon about $3.5k with 135" screen, ceiling mount and HDMI Fibre Optic cable the BenQ TK800m is hard to beat.

I'd say a TV any day of the week, but i'm biased with my TCL i got for $800, picture quality is sublime. I honestly don't get projectors in this day and age, pretty sure the only benefit was back in the day when TV's were small and you had limited options to get a decent sized screen, nowadays contrast and user interface is hands down better on TV's.
