Looking for a dongle to watch you tube and stuff on TV. Was thinking of a firestick. Any other suggestions/advice would be appreciated.
Can Anyone Recommend a Smart TV Dongle?
Comments
Ty, I was looking for a stand alone if possible
I've had experience with the previous generation Mi Box and it's been decent. Just reading below I've heard very good things about the Vodafone TV for it's price. I haven't used one myself however.
I would say get an Amazon Fire TV. However, for a few bucks more get a Vodafone TV. Easily worth the $72 with shipping from Vodafone.
Thanks guys.. after looking at comments I bought the vodafone TV. I appreciate you advice.
If you own Apple gear already then Apple TV 4K.
If it's not urgent, I'd be waiting for the new Chromecast Ultra rumoured to be released in a few months. Was supposed to be announced at the Google I/O, but that's been cancelled. It should have a remote and Android TV, excited for Google to release their own hardware to run their software. https://9to5google.com/2020/03/10/exclusive-2nd-gen-chromeca…
You don't remember the Nexus Player? Neither does Google.
My nexus player is still going strong 👍
100 percent, get Vodafone TV. $72 each and I have two in the house, got one for dad so he can watch his YouTube videos. It’s easy to use, you can download foreign apps, it has a bluetooth transmitter, has chromecast built in, 2 year Australian warranty.
Mi box does the job for me. If u want better pc Is the next step up
I'd recommend a Chromecast if you only want to stream. Mi Box if you want to do it as a standalone.
