PIZZA5

27% off Microsoft ebay store for the Razer BlackWidow Lite Keyboard. Retails for $149.95. Can use "pizza5" coupon to bring it down to $104. Not sure how it reviewed but I guess it's an okay price for mechanical keyboard that comes with o-rings. Apparently it uses razer's orange switches which are their queitest.

The Cynosa is a membrane keyboard. Just a note for those who are looking at it

Not the same. Cynosa is membrane.

        Personally I can't stand membrane

        • Agreed, I've gone mechanical and cannot go back. While the sound drives me nuts from the keys, the feel of typing on it just so much better, I have great tactile feedback and keys bottom out without feeling mushy.

    • Kinda insane to spend 70 dollars on membrane keyboard these day. If you can live without RGB/LED you can get decent mechanical keyboard for that price.

Bought a cyanosa recently as my Razer blackwidow was just too noisy even with O rings. It used to trigger my birds and make them scream which would wake our baby up yikes. Tbh I actually like how it feels, only thing it the shift keys feel am little squidgy when playing fps games and sprinting. But honestly I like it quite alot.

    • Interesting. Do you notice more flex in the cynosa?

    • I've had one for about 6 months and quite like it, but mostly for being quiet. The lights are good too. When playing the recent Just Cause 4 giveaway, I was surprised to see the lights change colour and sync and pulse with the game all by itself.

  • The downside is there is not keypad. I would wait a little bit longer for ClickFrenzy….

    • Some people prefer ten keyless layouts as your mouse can be closer to your hand during gaming which leads to better ergonomics.

But there are multiple downsides with this keyboard. It uses cheap laser etched ABS keycaps and doesn't have standard bottom row so it is hard to replace the keycaps. The switch is by Greentech which is a clone of Cherry MX.

Ultimately, you can get a better keyboard at that price point such as Ducky or Leopold. Or the Razer Huntsman for better keycaps and standard bottom row.

      • Do you have a link to the keyboards you mentioned?

        • There are couple of Ducky keyboards at PCCase gear but their prices are marked up due to coVID-19. Leopolds are currently out of stock at Mwave.

This keyboard by G.skill is better than this deal as it has double-shot injection meaning the letters will never fade away. Has aluminum back plate so it is very sturdy. Also has standard bottom row and Cherry switches. You'll need prime to be eligible for free shipping.
