What is your guys thoughts on this phone for $499?

What else would you compare this to in the 5-600 price range?
ColorOS was "okay" but has been updated to now be "quite decent".
Oppo phones usually have good cameras and screens for their price range, the A91 is no exception.
I would be cautious with that MediaTek chipset though. It's not as fast as the Qualcomm ones, uses more power, worse drivers/software, and no community support. So definitely try to get a similar Oppo with community support/Qualcomm chipset instead.
However, I think JB Hifi is having a special on the 2019 LG V50, and it's going for $599.
When you buy an oppo you but into color os. It's not terrible, but it's not reliable either. Lots of bugs and relatively slow updates.
I will choose a slightly more expensive/lower specced/older phone rather then another Oppo with color os in the future.
