  • how much do they normally go for?

  • +3

I paid $190 5 months ago without GPS and without memory card.

    Edit. It's a great camera.

  • I've had this for a while now and it's a great unit. Quality is amazing.

  • Delivery seems to be $9.99 to most/all metro areas.

  • How does this compare with the Pro model? Online reviews seem Pro model worth more. Any input guys?

    • +2

I had the Pro for 4 months - it's okay if you don't want to use it in parking mode but in parking mode it lasted 15-20 minutes before shutting down because of the heat. I returned it for a refund.

      • Weird. Mine has no issues recording in a busy public car park while I'm at work all day. Yours might have had a fault.

        • +1

Yeah, they sent me 2 units and it still had the same issue. I'm in Brisbane though where it's a bit hotter than down south so maybe that plays a part.

Have had the Pro Duo for a few months now. Got it professionally installed. Recommended.

      • +1

Hi, may I ask how much did you pay to have it installed? Thanks

        • +2

I got my Pro Duo hardwired for $100 in Melbourne by a professional installer via AirTasker

          • +1

@shakir99: Thank you for replying 😁👍

  • Thanks OP, picked one up for the new car

  • +2

Cheers got a119v3 for $140 shipped with 64gb endurance card. Not historic low but best there's been for months. Have an a118c looking to be demoted to rear cam.

    • We had a deal here earlier for the 119v3, how does that compare to this one here?

      • +1

Where is the deal for 119v3? I haven't seem a deal since January

  • I just got the A129 fora relative.. I assumed the IR meant the back camera connected via IR but it was a long wire instead. What’s the IR?

    • +3

I think the IR means it is capable of using IR for in-cabin recording

      • .2 Interior Camera with 4PCS Infrared lights

Just checked online and found pretty bad reviews for this seller. I have came across way too many improper online businessew these past months, so everyone should be more alert.

Here is the review ratings from OzBers : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/forum/shoppingsquare.com.au

Nah shopping square have been around for a while.

    • +2

I have personally used ShoppingSquare on and off since 2012, I haven't had any issues with them. I haven't had any expensive purchases from them, mainly under $50 if that changes anything.

  • Coupon doesn't seem to work with the a129 non-ir

  • I've had this model in my car since it came out. Footage is decent for the price. No issues at all, run mine off a cell link neo

    • Doesn't a cell link neo cost more than the camera itself??

      • Yep but allows you to record for up to 24hrs in parking mode. Few other benefits but that's the main one. Not for everyone but I love my car so it was worth it.

  • Damn it. I waited for a deal on this for ages but ended up paying about 20 bux more than this deal a few weeks ago.

It is a great camera, I have flogged one in my old car and it has never skipped a beat, so I got the second one for our new car. I opted to not get the 4K one as I heard it has issues, and to be honest this one has awesome video quality anyway. Parking mode works great too.

I paid someone to install it professionally which obviously adds to the price, but still came in way under anything from Blackvue or whatever. Great buy.

  • Love mine.. you need a hardwire kit.

  • dont know about anyone else but i get a unsecure connection on the shopping square website

  • How long does it continue to record after I turn off the engine? Do I need a hardwire kit for parking mode?

  • +7

How can I report this? Bought the same product a few weeks ago from the same shopping square and got a fake tracking code that never arrived. eBay have cancelled and refunded order, still have emails to prove

    • -4

write a letter to your local MP.

    • +4

Thats exactly what i said earlier here in the comments. Cant believe i got negative votes for warning people.

    • Hi caiocezart

If you can PM me with the order details, I might be able to help.

    • I took a gamble on this deal might end up in same situation, order says dispatched but tracking code does not resolve on the courier website.

  • Any experiences with the GPS? Unsure of how it would compare to Google maps.

    • +2

The GPS is so you have co-ords embedded in your video, not to use it as a mapping/directions app.

  • +6

Beware of fake listings. Can't trust them based on past experience.

    • Hi

If you got problem with your order with shopppingsquare, you can PM me with the order details, I might be able to help.

  • +4

    been burnt, buyer beware

  • Can this be used as a reversing camera?

  • If your worried about the sellers performance this seems to be in several sellers listings on eBay for around $245-$250 delivered with a hard wire kit and 64gb Sandisk card. So about $35 for the hard wire kit, which is probably worth it for parked car coverage.
Anyone who has this dual model, what size card would you recommend though? I got the single model for my wife’s car a few months ago and think I got 128gb so it would have quite a few weeks worth of footage before auto writing over older stuff. Wondering what two views would do with that demand….

    • Was looking as well and only found non-ir with HW kit and 64GB card for ~245.

  • +2

I've been using this Xiaomi 70mai for about 6 months and couldn't be happier. Grab two and add one to the back for the same price.

    • Indeed a nice alternative, but this one does not include GPS (have to buy it separately for another ~$40). Even with your suggestion of buying two (one front one rear), it would still not compare with this V129 Duo IR's capability to utilize IR and being able to connect two cameras in one system.

  • +1

$220 (after 10% off using PSIGNAL10) but with hardware kit for parking mode and free shipping. No IR LEDs on the rear camera, however.

    • Damn code has expired

      • +1

        It's $215.10 now with PILLOW10

        • Thanks make

  • Just a follow-up, anyone purchased this? Any comments about the buying experience?

  • I'm looking to pick one up as well, would appreciate an update on whether people got their items in the end.

    • Yep my Viofo 119 v3 came in normal time from this deal. I don't have great expectations at present though. Its way better than my previous Blueskysea bw1 (or maybe b1w…) The gps is added value as location and speed show in video. My bw1 kept losing the date and time too…
