Poster's comments: Pay attention to the short period for redemption. Ignore the claimed saving of 54%. Cinema saver tickets can be had for $10.50 each so the actual saving is $1.50. However in that case you have to buy at the cinema to avoid delivery charges. If are not signed up and you wish you can use my friend recommendation link, but you don't have to: http://news.groupon.com.au/c/r?ACTION=ri&EMID=08G03MC5N13003… I don't even know what if anything I get for it.

Isn't it only $8.50 or less to see a movie at Cineplex in Qld anyway ??

    • is it worth negging for a $1? Arent there ppl in other states?

    • Worth pointing out, and I've edited the text. Thanks.

    • That's what I thought at well, good for other states though.

  • Is there delivery charge on redemption for the tickets to be sent to homes?

    • +1

No, they mail it to you, nothing more to pay.

      • Thanks. Want to post your recommend friend link? I haven't joined yet.

        • On smartphone now will do later. Thanks.

    • u sure there is no postage charge? i thought when u redeem the ticket from another web site and they charge 3.49 shipping

      • Check it at alwaysonsale.com.au
        . No money collected there.

  • Worth noting:

The cinema may charge the user of this voucher a premium for any additional service or premium offered that is in excess of the value of a "standard adult ticket". This may include but is not limited to: a surcharge for premium VIP ticketing options or a surcharge for provision of 3D.

In the case of Imax, a standard adult ticket refers to an adult ticket for a film of less than 60 minutes duration (ie documentaries), films that are longer than 60 minutes would be subject to a surcharge (ie feature films)

  • Sold out, pity. :(

  • How do you redeem the tickets? I went on alwaysonsale.com.au, added the tickets to cart and put in the first voucher code but it didn't recognize the code. And there were admin and delivery cost shown too… The site seems to stop working after that. I guess I will try again later.

  • can i use $15 to buy their "Always On Sale $25 Gift Voucher" then use it to buy the cinema tickets?

this way u can get 2 tickets for $15 and still got $8 left which u can spend it somewhere else from the website i guess?

    • Somehow I don't think it works that way. The initial payment has to go to Groupon and then AlwaysOnSale redeems the voucher that Groupon issues. I don't think you can get it directly from AlwaysOnSale. Let us know if you succeed.
