Seen on HotUKDeals and then went to check the price locally and its $3/month if paid upfront, so $36 for the year here.

Tested working with Virtual Desktop on the Oculus Quest for wireless play, personally had to reboot after setting up as SteamVR was giving an error to start with.

Subscription renews at full price at the end of the year, currently $143.88. However you can cancel right away or subscribe again at the discounted rate and it adds another year to your subscription.

Its a great price but really depends how you like to spend your VR time, after you play the average VR game I at least prefer to play the more high quality games out there.

Personally I would rather get the 14 day trial to play some of the great short experiences, and then buy games I actually want to play regularly.

    • That was my original plan, but at $36 I will take a years worth. Quite a few things I can play over the next 12 months.

Looking through the game selection it seems to be comprised of mostly smaller Indie titles, i.e. don't expect to see top sellers like Beat Saber, Pavlov, H3vr or Boneworks to be included.

But for $36 most people should find their money's worth, but you'll have to scroll through the sea of junkware and badly coded games to find the good ones. I can see a few top picks Creed, Battlewake, Form and Witching Tower.

In case any Oculus Quest users are wondering it works with Virtual Desktop.

  • Been waiting for a deal on this, thanks OP. I think it was $60 for annual on Black Friday so this seems a good deal.

If you are keen you can cancel and re-subscribe again at $36 and it adds another year on to your account.

  • Do they have VR p0rn?

  • Still think this is stupidly overpriced at RRP

Most of the games are old / indy and can be found quite cheap.
