I always wanted to try a Gesha Filter and $28 for 250g is a pretty decent price, just sharing if anyone else wants to give this a go.

Still works out to well under $3 per coffee, so cheaper than buying from a cafe.
Bought one to see if it is really good for the price.
I always wanted to try a Gesha Filter
FYI, the variety is just called Gesha / Geisha, which is roasted for filter methods (the best way to enjoy it).
Pity I don't like filter! :)
Yep, I saw some comments and post about how it's the most expensive variety of coffee in the world. Just wanted to give it a try to see what's the hype is about.
Yeah, should be fantastic as a filter coffee - I believe people usually recommend V60 for it. Enjoy! :)
Let us know what you think!
So ok for aeropress?
@Appleboat: Yeah, Aeropress should be fine. Probably better as a pourover (V60, Kalita, etc), or maybe a Delter (which seems to be closer to pourover) - but I'm sure you could get great results from an Aeropress too.
I really enjoyed it being super light and fruity. It's flavours are a lot smoother and tea-like. Defs picking up some again at this price, the normal price is a little too steep for me though.
If you're into juicy/floral coffee with pretty high acidity you'll probably love it. I think it's mostly expensive because it's a pain in the arse to grow and produces a fairly low yield. So it has to fetch a high price to be worth the farmer's time/effort.
I ordered this a few weeks ago and wasn't too happy with it. Perhaps it wasn't my thing but I was getting some vegetal notes from it. I was using an aeropress with a high quality grinder.
Side note even after two weeks the coffee generates quite a bit of gas. I squeeze the one way valve bag till it's flat the next day there's more gas in the bag. I think they might have roasted it too lightly.
The Leonid Ramirez stuff from 5senses tasted better to me.
I'll see how this batch turns out. I never really tasted any roasts with vegetal notes in them. I've gotten a lot of acidity in a few but didn't mind it too much. Very curious on how it turns out.
How did you go? Hopefully good
I replied to the comment above but paste it here again

I grinded it for filter and used an aeropress inverted, got good results every time. I finished my first 250g and looking forward to coming back to it again after I'm done with a SO I'm running through atm.
@POSITIVEVIBESONLY: Thanks for replying. I just got a bag of the 5senses Acacia Hills Gesha. Gonna try it a few days later.
