Obviously, you can simply plug 1 external monitor to hdmi port. I do have usb-c port as well.
Anyone recommend simple and also cheap way to be able to add second monitor

So, just need to get something like this:

or something like this instead (~ $11)

What do you think about this one? It's cheaper slightly but has over 700 reviews

What about a docking station?
Note that the presence of USB-C does not guarantee it will support video output. An alternative is a Microsoft wireless display adaptor which is like a Chromecast for PC.
Mine definately does. I've used it to plug into a monitor at work
Depends on the laptop. Some will allow total 1 external, some 2. Surefire way to get around this is to get a dock that uses a displayport chip.
Bought this: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B078XV4X5Y/ref=ya_aw_od_pi…
Let's see how it goes. Can always return it if it doesn't work with Amazon prime
There are also usb c to hdmi cables, so you don't need to use an adapter.
I have two adapters from China suppliers…
1) USB —> VGA
2) HDMI —> VGANot USB-C but…
A dock
If you already have another monitor ready to go, then get a USB-C adapter for whatever your monitor uses?
