  • What’s the price after trial?

    • +3

$49.99 USD a month…nearly signed up, but I usually forget to cancel.

      • $usd50/mth????

    • You can share the membership with up to 5 people if you decide to keep it.

      • +1

Only 3 concurrent streams at a time though.

  • We see you live in
    90001
Sorry, but YouTube TV is not available in your area just yet.

    • are you connected to LA server through VPN?
Server and the ZIP codes need to match and only LA server worked for me

    • +2

try 90210 i use it for everything LOL usually works its the only zip code i can remember

      • +2

Hey I live in 90210 as well…. on Rodeo Drive according to things I've signed up for :)

        • +1

yeah we're neighbors iv seen you around before ;)

    • yeah I tried Seattle and LA vpn/zipcodes. couldn't get it to work

  • So this is $49.99US($80AUD) a month after the free trial.

How does this stack compared to foxtel?

    • +1

I have never used Foxtel but you can add 5 family members on it. if you decide to share the cost. So about AUD15.76/month/person if you fill up all spots.

      • I’m interested.

        • Same here.
50 usd seems excessive for what it is but I'd happily pay 15au a month

  • Is anyone else facing the issue where it asks to enter a code that's supposedly on a device?

    • I did, but forget when did it show up. Can you tell what part are you stuck at?

      • I selected which google account I wanted to use and then it lead me to the 'connect a device' page.

        • did you sign up already?
if not use the link tv.youtube.com to sign up

  • I’ve signed up using VPN, had to download the YoutubeTV app with my US iTunes account then have to use my VPN to access the App. It works, but is there a workaround for this or is a VPN always needed?

The app won’t let me access some live channels or add shows to my playlist without requesting my device’s location.

    • +3

I have covered it in description

When you start to run it without VPN, it will ask you to verify your location. To do so, open up NOX or any other android simulator. Change location to Los Angeles. then open up web browser in NOX and open up the link tv.youtube.com/verify to verify location. Once done you can access Youtube tv without VPN.

Basically open the app without VPN on and then follow above instructions

      • Nox is a bit shit pushing apps and ads constantly.

Andyroid has none of that although they did turn a blind eye to bitcoin miners being dropped in their installers a few years ago. (To be fair I don't know the exact circumstances but it appears as though a third party (authorised by them) was dropping the miner and they sort of ignored it for a bit or something …

You can root Andyroid and use hosts blocking eg. Adaway from F-market.

        • +1

I use Bluestacks and it works much faster.

          • @Pricebeat: can this be setup on a shield tv pro ?

            • @nisbne: Yes, after signing up follow the same method as OZB fan below

  • Signed up but I can't download the app now

  • Has anyone been using this service for a while? How's it compare to me flix, Stan etc? Besides the lack of sport at the moment how's the sport content in general?

  • +1

Great, thanks OP . Just downloaded the app and used it. Remember to cancel now so you don't forget.

    • can you cancel now and still have access for the 14 days?

  • Have downloaded on Apple Tv and works fine without VPN. Thanks OP. Though not having much of time to watch to justify recurring billing.

    • What zip code did you use for your sign up?

      • +1

Used 95051 I had issue when signing up using expressvpn as service not available at your zip code but When I used my official work vpn for signup it worked for all zip codes.
