All the good budget monitors I have been reading up on are sold out in Australia. I need one ASAP for work at home but I want it to be decent for gaming as well. I'm stuck between the Samsung 24CRG50 and the Viewsonic VX2458-C-MHD both are 144hz VA monitors. They are both available for $299. If anyone can find a better monitor under $300 that is available or help me decide between these two it would be a great help.
Limited Gaming Monitor Options. Please help!

Thanks for offering. It might have been good but I am in QLD.
They deliver. MSY also have 2 stores in QLD
He offered me to buy one of his old monitors but must have edited his post. I just checked out those two websites and they are sold out. The demand is so high at the moment
@WadeSchmade: yeah my fault, I realised the monitor is in Canberra and I'm in Sydney - sorry about that.
QLD, try MSY or Umart.
@wallet72: Umart still has quite a few monitors in stock thanks for your help
I'd go Samsung over Viewsonic anyday
That's what I was thinking. I have never even heard of Viewsonic but the specs are very similar to the Samsung
Every Viewsonic I've used has been utter garbage quality and image wise. The specs looks the same on paper, but put them side by side and the difference will be obvious
Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll stay away from the Viewsonic

If you are in Sydney have you tried Mwave or MSY?
