Yup. Coles & Woolies must have had a pile of leftovers since most (decent) folks stayed home over the weekend.

Wow, totally puts to shame my 3kg of vacuum packed Tasmanian salmon filets at $17/kg at Harris Farm (Sydney Eastern suburbs). Until I saw the $5/kg whole barra, I was quite happy with my deal; only reason I hadn't posted it is that by the time I got there around mid-day they had only a few dozen portions left.
They'd had a whole mountain of these salmon portions at 7am on Saturday. A diligent social distancer, I called the store this morning to ask before I made the trip out, and sure enough, they said it was 50% off today. Win. Bought 6 packs of 2 portions, tossed 5 in freezer.
Kudos to those who can make use of their lovely fresh Barra and Snapper without having to freeze a bunch of it. That fish looks excellent.
I thought that said ' Fresh Whale' at first. Nearly shat my pants. I know we are in lock down but hadn't thought we moved to wholesale whale products
