Looks to be a good deal for the hybrid owners out there.

Interested to know if anyone has actually used this oil and recommend it. My hybrid is needing an oil change, but was just going to use the recommended 0w-20
Honda green oil is 0-16 so if you have a car where that's required, you can use this. I do for my Honda jazz hybrid.
Theres a Honda Jazz Hybrid? When did this happen?
This type of oil is new and designed for GDI engines (Gasoline/Petrol Direct Injection). It's designed to reduce carbon build up on the valves. Even though it's fully synthetic, I think the recommendation is still to replace it every 6 months. I'm surprised it is so cheap. I expected it to be more than this.
i have asked my mechanic in using this and he has said he wont when servicing under warranty… if i was to use oil this then he will not be doing log book service. only 0w-20
edit: for a corolla hybrid that is…
I thought manufacturers recommend these thin oil as it makes their engine have a higher fuel efficiency rating (better for their marketing). It doesn't however, protect the engine as much as the thicker oils, though.
0w-16??? Never hear of this before. Is it new kind of oil?
