Taking business trips is work related and allowed under current restrictions.
According to lawyers, a lot of the fines would be withdrawn or dismissed in court, if people challenge them:

Buy some of the cotton ones people stitch. Boil kettle and soak in water at night.

still see singles for sale around the local areas (~2.5-3 each). I'm sure they have some boxes of 50 too
Use some of your toilet paper stash. Wrap about 10 layers around your head (for 3 ply, 15 layers for 2 ply).
Aliexpress
…leave them for the medicos
why? we keep getting told they're not effective.
Healthcare workers get their PPE from the hospital while the rest of us get it from retailers.
And where do the hospital get their PPE?
They get them from direct government contract suppliers. It’s not like they are going shopping at Chemist warehouse.
@whooah1979: And where do retailers get them from?
@theHMASfriendship: The PRC.
Amazon
You should make your own and leave the facemask for essential frontline workers

where are you located? BTW, your PM is off.
Do you know how to use Google Seach ?
P1/P2 masks are available at Bunnings. Check stock at Bunnings near you, go early and talk to the person in tools section, they are no longer kept on the shelves at my local bunnings.
There are/were people selling them around UNSW (Sydney). Still have signs up around the area in Chinese.
Hi welcome to the forum,
i have found my local pharmacies all offer them if you ask, just not many sell them in lots of 50 or more anymore..
Officially it is suggested you dont wear them unless you are unwell. like everything else ATM, you will pay TOP dollar for them.
Personally I dont intend on wearing them unless i am unwell or otherwise required to by my employer
Are you travelling domestic or international?

I went to chemist warehouse yesterday and they had heaps of stock. Also, other retailers around had some of them
The local Mitre 10 had a sign in their window that single/x3 masks were available instore whereas out of stock online.
Call ahead to confirm stock availability.
This is an easy mask (with filter pocket) to make as long as you have access to a sewing machine. You could actually do this by hand, just would take longer. My daughter is only somewhat proficient and she knocked a few out in under 30 mins. I soak them in a Dettol solution and rinse to clean.
where to buy one or a supply of them? please..
Contact pam
Lots of shops are selling them now. Try your local pharmacy first.
Where have you been?
amazon… impossible to find it on there. ozbargain. 70 for 10…
People were looking at this back in Feb ~ March. They dissapeared and starting to make a come back now. I have stopped wearing them in public now as the chance of getting it is really low.
Keep your distance, do not touch things unnecesarily, do not touch your face, sanitize your hands whenever you can (plenty of places have hand sanitizer nowadays), avoid sneezing/coughing people and do not travel if you don't have to.
Those surgical masks would minimize the chance of people spreading them, not getting them.
The N95 masks are expensive and hard to get and they are also disposable, means you will need a lot of them if you're planning to wear them regularly.
Did you bother doing any research? They're everywhere now …
for the cheapest value deal etc?
Costco had a box of 50 for $45 last night.
Cheapest doesn't necessarily equal better
@kerfuffle: yes i know. cheapest for quality. no costco mem.
Supermarket.
But I’m pretty sure the job of a mask isn’t to prevent you getting Covid.
About 20 people in the entire country have the covid, you probably couldn't get it if you tried.
According to this site https://www.covid19data.com.au/
As of today there are 179 active cases in Australia, 20 new cases in the previous 24 hours.
You are correct. 0.000716% of the population has it, compared to the 0.00008% I gave. Rush to the shops and get your (ineffective) masks!

Nothing wrong with being pedantic, keeps people on their toes.

Gotta pash 'em all!
What is Convid -19 anyway?
Is is a bad remake of Con Air that went straight to Video?
It's a movie where NSW and Vic try to import more and more cases of a virus, while all the other states attempt to stop it, so the country can go back to normal.
Is that a remake of a 1918 film?
I’ve seen them at Kmart recently.
3m n95?
No idea, I just saw a packet of masks, I didn’t look too close. Perhaps you can go to your local shops looking for what you’re after?
@jjjaar: Next minute: OP too afraid to leave the house to go to the local shops for masks, for fear of catching COVID-19
You'll need eye protection too if you are serious. Only a mask is of limited effectiveness.
