There are heaps of live streams to watch on this site which is great since we can’t travel anywhere.
The one stream I’m particularly excited about is the aurora borealis aka northern lights.
This is one natural phenomenon that I have not witnessed in person even though I spent thousands of dollars to travel to Rovaniemi in Finland in the middle of winter in the hope of seeing this.
This is a stream of the skies in Churchill, Canada. Being in a different hemisphere, we need to time it right and hope there is an aurora happening. Sometime in the mid afternoons would be the right time to hopefully catch it . This site provides a forecast of the possibility of seeing one.
I got sick in Helsinki while trying to head to Rovaniemi, and didn't end up making it there, sadly. But I've been lucky enough to see the aurora on two different trips to Iceland, and it was every bit as mesmerising as I'd anticipated.
Hopefully you can see it in person somewhere one day, dealbot!
