apart from 28degrees, What other banks and financial institutions offer credit cards to the non-residents? I work with NAB, Commonwealth and ING? Would they give me a credit card if I request? I have a full-time job by the way.
Credit Card Recommendation for a Non-Resident?
Comments
Why wouldn't they offer you a credit card if you're on a valid work visa here? ANZ offered their black one but didn't want it.
some ask for permanent residency because.
Only Citibank does, the rest don't. Took 10 seconds to find:

thanks a lot.

I highly doubt you have a full time job with all 3 banks, it sounds like you have a job with a outsourcer who has contracts into these places.
But you can always ASK, the worst is they say no.
What? I meant i have bank accounts in those banks.
"Work with" then isn't the right wording from what you're trying to say, as it implies you WORK for them, not just use their services.
I think you mean to say, you "Bank with" or "Have accounts with".
sorry then, my bad.
That’s not what your post says. Look at what you wrote
am i saying i wrote "I have bank accounts with them" in my original post?
OP doesn't even know his work status to convey to a cc provider so I doubt he has any chance of getting a card. Jeez!
If you have a work permit (TSS or 457) and if your visa is valid for more than one year from now, then you may be eligible.
Citibank is not the only one that offers credit cards for non-residents. I know that both NAB and Commonwealth Bank offers credit cards for non-residents. Please approach the bank where your salary is getting credited and visit the branch instead of applying online.
Would they give me a credit card if I request?
You can only ask. Try ANZ
Ask them
