I have two of these, they both regularly corrupt the SD cards. I have bought about 4 so far, all makes, still the same. The camera itself is a great camera however constantly shelling out for SD Cards is unsustainable. Paid to have mine hardwired in so having them replaced would cost me again. I wish I had never chosen this model.

    • Try high endurance cards.

Samsung ones are a bit better but expensive

      • i have been using Samsung in this for 2 years …no problem..just dont go cheap on the SD card

        • I have two of these, both running Samsung High endurance icrosd cards. Every couple of weeks, both units verbally say "SD card slow speed" out loud.
Formatting the card seems to keep it going for another couple of weeks.
Was the same with Samsung microsd cards.
Googling it seems to find a lot of people having same issue with a number of different microsd cards in the cam.
It is a pity because the video quality is good for the price. This is one annoying problem though.

@metalhead: I got the same problem. Just "reset" (I.e. unplug and plug it) it several times and it works fine. Don't hard-wire it of course.

            • @duluxe2000: yes, sorry, that (I.e. unplug and plug it) works as well. thanks. Still annoying that it does it every week..

@metalhead: Yes, the same, tried a few cards, I have a selection of waste cards, I usually get a second go on the card but it's an annoying process to keep doing every 8 weeks or so. It should not be so problematic to have to own or maintain.

      • Yeh, tried that, that's what makes it ongoing and frustrating.

  • Is this even capacitator?

    • Yep

  • I bought one way back. Video won’t play properly on iphonex and above. No fix as far as I’m aware of.

I've had mine (4 of them) for over a year and no issues

  • Really frustrating thing happened yesterday, a taxi cut my husband off and he pressed the button to lock it. Got home and literally the only footage that was missing was around the time he pushed the button. Got footage of the taxi just before and after the cut but none of the actual incident. Not in the locked files section either. Retested again and it worked fine, so wouldn't say this is reliable.
