50% off BL Nourish Lip Serum $12 + Delivery (RRP $24) @ Biologi

I have been using Biologi products for over a year and can vouch for its quality products. They are based in Byron Bay. This lip serum is a new product and is normally a little pricey. I bought one when it was first released a few months ago and it has already changed my life. Thought I'd share the 50% code I got in my e-mail to help anyone who wants to give this a go (or usually buys Biologi products).

For those who are complaining about shipping (postage fees are normal with any other business), this is just something for those who have bought from Biologi and weren't aware of the 50% special offer. IF you don't want to fork out the shipping cost, then don't buy it. If you want to try it, I'd recommend it. I haven't seen Biologi products being stocked at any physical chemist or skincare shop. Nourished Life website has them but they're not on sale.

They're cruelty free, vegan, sustainable and each product type only contains one ingredient-100% active natural plant serum.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

BL Nourish Lip Serum is a single-plant extract of native Australian blood red finger lime.

Chosen for its natural healing and protection properties, the blood red finger lime is packed with 100% active natural phytonutrients that work in synergy to reduce redness, calm inflammation and leave lips softer and more supple than ever before.

Designed to treat cells on a deeper level, use BL hydrating lip serum for a regenerative boost during the day, or for a soothing & deep conditioning treatment overnight.

  • Is it like a lip balm?

    • Kind of except it's not in a solid form. It's watery so it your lips will absorb the product rather than have it sitting just on top (like most other lip balms).

      • Thanks for the reply @jenz91
So what does it really do? Moisturises? And how long does the effort last?

        • It's like a conditioning treatment. Definitely increases the elasticity of the skin on your lips and around it because the skin around our mouth is different to the rest of our face- it doesn't produce its own oils (from what I remember reading about it). That's why we easily get dry lips. I put it on at night for a conditioning treatment but I also wear it during the day and have found I don't really need to top up often throughout the day like I did with regular lip balms. I used to be anxious if I ever forgot to bring my normal lip balm/chapsticks when going out because after an hour or so, my lips would become tight and I wouldn't be able to smile or talk much without feeling the skin about to crack with being stretched so much.
I hope this helps. I usually go with the cheap SUVANA's paw paw ointment (not Lucas) yellow tube at Priceline for like $7 (or sometimes half price when on sale) because it doesn't irritate my skin. I'm not the type to splurge on expensive stuff but I really like this company. It's pure plant serum (no water added), hence it's expensive. But I would rather pay for this than your typical brands like Clinique, etc.

    Postage about $9 to VIC.

    • Yes I am aware of this, but it's the same postage to anywhere in Aus.

    • Thanks

You bought it a few months ago and it's already changed your life?

I don't think my life is quite as sad as yours, but I'll buy 10 and give it a go.

    Thanks :)

    • yes, I suffered from itchy, peeling lips that I had to use a prescription ointment for it for many years. But I've stopped using the prescription one. I had some sort of eczema skin condition going on around my lips, it was weird. I would recommend you try the Bf serum if you want to replace your moisturiser + toner, (best value out of all the other ranges). It says recommended for body but you can use it on your face. Do some research into what skin type you are to choose the right product.
