I purchased one of Dells business laptops in February
They apparently didn't have any further stock of that particular laptop (which they failed to inform me until I called to follow up 3 weeks later) and offered their newer model as a replacement which they claimed Id be getting by mid march. I agree with it.
I try calling and emailing them several times after this but no one can give me any updates and claim this one particular agent is working on it and that hed be getting back to me - but he doesn't despite my efforts until literally the day that Im suppose to receive the laptop and tells me he needs to organize the model and get the team to approve the new version - claims he called me - absolute bs and I tell him to check his emails that he not once responded to - long story short they organize it finally but now Im being given an estimate of another 1-2 months before I receive the laptop as its coming from overseas. Theyre telling me the new time frame is basically to build the motel - which still hasnt started and then wait for postage.
I understand things have been crazy across the globe but I don't think my issue was related to this given they had for some reason assigned just one person to deal with the order- and for some reason he didn't finalize the order itself for over a month despite my attempts to contact them several times.
So the question is, can I do anything about this lengthy delay which Im honestly sick of or am I stuck with it ?
Short of flying your private jet to wherever Dell makes laptops, and whipping the people making it to get them working faster, then taking it back, I'd say your best recourse is a refund if you don't want to wait.
