[QLD] Genuine Toyota Hilux SR5 Alloy Wheels $150 @ Grand Motors Toyota, Southport

390

Went to the spares dept to get some silicone oil and they had this on display. (Spares dept at Industrial Drive not at the Sales yard)
I thought it was pretty cheap for an alloy wheel, especially so for a genuine Toyota one. Says it’s for a Hilux SR5 but I am sure it would fit any Hilux, and prob any from the last 20 years maybe.
They say it’s $1500 off normal RRP, I assume they have changed the wheels to some other one and now these are spare.
Price is per alloy of course.

  • Is this just one set?

Looks like the price per wheel.

      Niche but a good bargain.

      • +6

Yeah, it’s per wheel. I thought people would have realised that. I’ll change it.

I thought the clearly noted "each" in the bottom corner was pretty clear and easy to see but each to their own.

Sorry I meant availablity of rims?

    • +4

The sign says they have heaps, over stocked.

I think it’d be the ones that came with that wheel from Japan and then they were swapped at the dealership for say wider versions, or black ones for example.

  • Molendinar, not Southport.

    • Yes, but Grand Motors is Southport.

      • Spares dept at Industrial Drive not at the Sales yard

        Industrial Avenue is in Molendinar.

Yes, that’s what I have said.

Not a bad price for dealership but generally there are tonnes of these floating around facebook market for less with rubber sometimes.

Brand new less than $150. I don’t think so.

      • +1

Depends on how popular it is to change the wheels after market. I don't buy new tyres for my car, it is cheaper to buy a full set of wheels off forums etc than it is to buy a set of 4 tyres. My last set was $350 with tyres that had done less than 100km because the guy changed them for after market straight away.

My wife likes to scratch our Rav4 GXL 2018 alloy rims, any tips on where to pick these up cheap now so I can attach them after the divorce?

    Stylish Hose Reel

  • Awesome value. Good opportunity to get a decent looking spare tyre. Miles away, anyone know if they'd post? ;)

    • Try your local toyota dealer, they may have the same.

    • The photo has a 1800 number, give them a call.

  • Will these fit a great wall?

  • A whole advertising page but no wheel specs?!

    • +1

      I believe 18 x 7.5 and the PCD is 6 x 139.7

      Centre bore 106.1

I think the price is pretty good for a brand new wheel.
