Missed out on the last few deals on eBay. Need a good deal on Synology DS918+

  You could also wait for the DS920+ if your not in a hurry.

    Just keep in mind that the 920+ has not actually been announced, and is likely to be more pricey.

    Not in a bigg hurry, my last NAS is cooked and need something beefy like the DS918+, do you know when the DS920+ might be released and what the specs might be?

    Only want a Synology, got an older model and probably one of the easiest and best NAS products in my opinion. Want to use for 4k video

  I'm in a similar situation - have been waiting for the replacement to be released since october last year as the 918 is kinda dated in tech terms …. They may be wanting to release the replacement in conjunction with the DSM 7 software update … for which beta testing program has been delayed until towards the end of the year…. so I'm not holding my breath…. or they might announce it next month … who knows
