I thought the purpose of cryptocurrency was to be outside the influence of normal markets. Seems to be a purely speculative currency.

Honestly i wouldnt touch bitcoin there are too many rich billionars who influence the price to benefit themselves with no regulation at all it is a boat that sail a long time ago

Been seeing people saying negative things against it for ten years. At $1, $10, $100, $1000, $10000. Can't believe people were sitting here at these prices in April and not buying.
Nothing goes up in a straight line, corrections are good and needed. Just a chance to get more. Read the Bitcoin standard. Understand the asset.
So you can either be like Peter Schiff or get some BTC, just in case. But the boat has started sailing away and in unchartered waters now. Truly no harm putting 1% of your networth into BTC when the chance comes.
There are headwinds but BTC will make it. Come back to this message in a few years time. In the meantime, buttholes clenched.
