We recently noticed a post on Ozbargain for some of our member discounts and so we decided to do a special promotion just for Ozbargain.
We are seeking to clear the last of our 2016 vintage Merlot stock so that we can release the 2017 to the market. If there is a good response we would be happy to keep posting and creating special deals from Plantagenet.

We are offering to Ozbargain members a 55% discount with free shipping anywhere in Australia on our 2016 vintage Merlot which equates to $90/case by using the code at checkout. Note that the code will only work with the Lions Circle Merlot.

Plantagenet Wines was established in 1968 and is the oldest commercial winery in the premium cool climate Great Southern Wine Region in WA. We are a 5 star winery and are known for producing wines of elegance and sophistication – crafted from aged vineyards and quality parcels of fruit.

      Come on, give the person a chance, they are on their Ozbargain L's, they are trying to offer a deal for people. Not everyone will get it right on their first attempt, let alone every time.

      At the moment we are trying to clear out our Merlot but if there is interest we will look into a Pinot deal in the future.

        Plenty of interest last week. Just don't be like Punt Road and pull a switcheroo from 2016 to 2019 cleanskin after people have ordered.

          We definitely won't do that to you. Once the 2016 Merlot is gone we will put it as sold out and won't keep taking orders. Looks like there is quite a bit of interest in wine so we will look at other deals we can offer you in the future.

          2019 was a fantastic year in the Yarra Valley. You may have got a better deal with the 2019.

    Sold! At $7.50 a bottle it seems worth a try. Hard to find any ratings or prices online for this exact product (lots re the Cab Merlot or Shiraz) but figure it should be ok.

      Thanks. It is one of our export brands which is why you probably can't find any ratings on it. It is a well rounded wine and quite soft on the palate. Usually we do a cab merlot but we decided to do just a Merlot for one of our export markets.

    Thanks OP, great price from a top producer. I'm unashamedly parochial about WA and Plantagenet is brilliant! Although I haven't tried this wine I'm sure it'll be more than ok as a quaffer. BTW, not related or associated to OP or Plantagenet.
