I have asked in ~50 pharmacies and can't find a thermometer, any suggestions are very welcomed!
Almost a month ago I purchased a Braun thermometer in Ebay, but although the seller had excellent reviews, after 3 weeks I am still waiting for it.
At this point, I really need to have a reliable thermometer so I am willing to pay more (seems the prices have skyrocketed), but any suggestions of a store/seller which can deliver it fast?

I don't recommend the ear thermometers, they discontinue them and the refills that specifically fit on the probe become impossible to source rendering your expensive thermometer useless. Speaking from experience, a $60 Omron ear thermometer is defunct only a few years later.
Do they work with a bit of cling wrap?
No, the ring of the probe cover has to clip in or the thermometer doesn't work.

I recently found a regular thermometer at Coles in the baby section $8.00 after asking at every single chemist. They are Disney branded and come in Princess, Winnie The Pooh, Toy Story options.
