Having travelled a bit, in the last few years, I prefer AirBnB over hotel rooms. The only hassle tends to be key handover. I can see why they would can it at the moment.

There are exceptions for getting an Airbnb, e.g getting out of a DV situation, or if your home is not habitable or if you're studying or working away from home.
