Looking for Mouse + Keyboard combo

Looking for a mouse/keyboard combo for my wife's small laptop. I'm thinking bluetooth might be best, as it only has 1 USB port. Any recommendations?

Any Logitech combo with single unifying receiver that fits her hand, required size and budget.

    Logitech MK850 combo.

      • Ouch! $115 at Umart - about twice the price I was hoping to pay.

        • I have the mouse from that combo. I've been using for a couple of years and I'm very happy with it.

I've also got a cheap Logitech K375s keyboard which I bought for occasional use with the TV and Raspberry Pi. Now that I'm using it while working full time from home, the lack of quality is obvious.

Note that the MK850 combo supports both Bluetooth and unifying adapter.

What's your budget? You could spend anywhere from $10 to $500 on mouse + keyboard. Any specific needs?

  • Just noticed there's also a USB C port - any keyboard/mouse combos that have a USB C transmitter?

There was a good deal recently on the Logitech MK220 Wireless Mouse & Keyboard Pack. It seems pretty reasonable at about $50.

The Logitech MK220 deal was $19. It's currently advertised at $29 at Harvey Norman and other places.

I would not recommend it for work as it does not have a full sized keyboard. There's also no bluetooth or unifying receiver.

      • Agreed, BT would be better. As for the size, if you are used to typing on a laptop, this size keyboard feels pretty natural. If you're used to a full size pc keyboard it would take some more getting used to.

As for the unifying receiver, i get it, but I've owned many logitech wireless devices and have never wished i had a unifying receiver.

If anyone is wondering why a unifying receiver odds recommended, it is because it can be programmed. If you lose your single, you lose your mouse and keyboard, however, you can always buy a unifying receiver online. Also, Logitech Generally are widely sorted by various brands, so it will most likely work with your tv, console, settop box etc.

      Or break it.

My wife broke her Microsoft combo receiver because she didn't unplug it and put it back in the mouse before she put her laptop in her bag, the receiver bent in the port (surprised the port survived) and that was all she wrote. Keyboard and mouse useless…although we donated to daughter's childcare for them to play with.
