David Jones Online Shopping Not Accepting David Jones Gift Cards

I am trying to make an online purchase on David Jones website. I want to pay using DJ physical gift cards. They all have 20 digits in the format;

60126370 nn 100nnnnnn n and a PIN

Whatever I input in the gift card field online, I receive an error message. I raised a case with David Jones 3 days ago and they told me the gc field only requires 16 digits but were unable to tell me which 16 digits of the 20 digits on the card need to be input. They promised a response within 48 hours but they have not responded.

Any ideas?

    Post the 20 digits and PIN and we'll test it for you.

    Update - it seems advice from DJs was incorrect. GC field requires all 20 digits.

      Whoever told you that you only need 16 digits seriously needs retraining by their manager.

      DJs online is a lottery at best - although sometimes I think it may be easier winning lotto than to have a DJs online transaction go smoothly.

      All I can suggest it to keep trying - for some reason a random upteenth attempt ends up going through.
