I bought a few DC Comics ones from the book grocer and didn't realise that comic stories are spread over lots of issues. Every few pages is a fragment of a story and you have to get all issues to be able to have a coherent complete storyline. Pointless grabbing a few randoms unless they're compendiums.
These are trade paperbacks so they collect 4-8 individual issues depending on story arc length. I still wouldn't pick up anything other than a volume 1 or you might miss out on some things but each volume should be enjoyable by itself to a degree as its usually collected in on story arc.
Is there an IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes for these? I’d order the ten top rated ones, if I could tell which were top rated.
