Felt ripped off spending $20 on a 500ml bottle two weeks ago, but doesn't seem too bad considering how much these small ones are going for (if you can get them). Strange times.

Try $30 for 250mL. That’s what we paid for some in a liquid, mist form. Label quotes it is using World Health Organisation formulation (contains Isopropanol 75%) and was made by Elizabeth St Pharmacy (Melbourne). I wonder if they can be reported for price gouging?

What’s the percentage of alcohol in this product? Ego Aqium gel clearly states if contains 70% ethanol.

Huh? I've been using them since January for the kitchen and two bathroom/toilet sinks at times when I need a quick hand clean.
Why wouldn't you just wash your hands if you're already at the bathroom/kitchen sinks? Save these for the car or when you're out an about
Got small ones for the car and bags for going out.
@scuderiarmani: I use them sparingly. Two are still mostly full and the other one is more than 4/5th full. And I bought them 3 months ago (Jan 4).
Anyway, I'm not sure why I'm trying to justify my usage but there you go.

If you're really in need of this stuff then check your local distillery. In Brisbane both Brisbane Distillers and Milton Distillers are making hand sanitizer. Brisbane Distillers have heaps of stock available and it should be available for pickup within the week. They can't post it though as the high ethanol content means it is classed as a dangerous good. Im not sure how these Amazon sellers are getting around that, other than potentially not declaring it.
I've wondered that with fragrances too…. Australia Post has kittens if you tell them you're sending them.
Got 250ml Tricare antibacterial liquid hand wash plus 500ml refill from Aldi last week. Hope it does the job

The Aldi Tricare brand is not alcohol based
Wow so glad I impulse bought that 5L isopropyl alcohol deal a while back. Diluted to ~70% mix into little portable spray mist bottles and take along those small free hotel skin lotions if it gets too dry.
The WHO recipe is fairly basic and incorporates glycerine / glycerol which stops your hands from drying out. I bought 5L of glycerine for $99 - probably too much, but…
