    Tropico 4

Good game but a bit of an odd choice. Lots of old games on here.

  • +10

Looks like most games in this package are already on Game Pass

    • +10

Yeah, but Game Pass is like Netflix - the games aren't on there forever (except the Microsoft ones, presumably, similar to Netflix originals). These are Steam keys so you'll have the games for as long as you have a Steam account.

      • +4

Exactly, so many games have left Game Pass that I wanted to play. No time at all. Nothing beats owning the game.

    • +1

That's been the case most months since gamepass started. I postponed my humble monthly 6 months straight because the majority of games were on GP.

  • +41

This would be a great bundle for someone just starting out with a Steam collection - a lot of very solid indie titles.

However, not much here for those of us who've accumulated most of these games over the years.

    • +10

When you have a Steam collection in the multiple of hundreds, you probably already have enough gaming entertainment. Not that I'm every gonna play 75% of them.

      • +5

        98% you mean

      • +3

1265 games owned on steam so far, yes i have a problem and no i wont be stopping hoarding them lol

      • +2

        Have you been to www.steamleft.com?

        It would take you…
        4044 continuous hours
        168 days,12 hours,0 minutes
of gameplay to complete your Steam library

Hello lockdown! Still got a lot of fluff on there I'd gotten for free or in bundles and would never play though.

        • +2

I hate that website for making me realise what a fiend I am for a good sale.

        • +2

11036 hours… I wish I didn't look. That's only Steam too. There's Uplay and Origin and Epic and Twitch and Game Pass. I'll probably still get this bundle though.

  • Are the games presented as individual keys?

    • +4

Based on my previous humble purchases, I believe they are. So if there's stuff you've already got then you can pass those specific keys on to friends if you want while using the ones that you don't already have.

    • They are indeed

  • +1

Great deal if you haven't got most of these. Less so if you do. Suppose you could just gift what you already have.

  • +5

Wish we could just get a subset of this bundle. $51 is a lot.

    • +3

      PM'd

  • +4

Not really much in there to make it worth $51 to me.

    • +2

Agreed and I hate to say it because of where the money is going but money is also tight for a lot of people right now. I don't think it's worth $51 for me but for others it might be if they don't have any games on their accounts.

    • Agreed. A lot of the games seem to be just "fillers"

  • +3

I've never seen a bundle with so many games I already own before.
I think a lot of the games were in previous Humble Bundles which is a bit awkward.

  • -2

I miss the time when their bundles were $15 and not $51…

    • +7

Those bundles were 6 or 7 games.
This is a whole other thing. It's like the Yogscast ones. Similarly priced.

      • +2

Exactly. How spoiled for content have we become when we're finding a way to bleat about the cost of 45 games and 25 books (80 items people slaved over) for less than ~$1 per. Yeah some of this stuff might not be great, many of us might already have a lot of it, but good grief…Less than $1 per thing and people can still find a way to call this expensive.

        • +1

          Totally agree.
And those same people probably buy a $50 carton of beer which will last them maybe a few days… maybe not even that long in social isolation total lockdown lol
Much rather the hundreds if not thousands of hours of gaming/reading from this bundle :P

      • +2

Maybe people would be happier if this bundle was broken down into different $15 bundles with an option to get everything for $51.
$51 is a lot to spend in the current situation for me, but each to their own.

  • +1

Chasing Jackbox if anyone has a key. Will make a donation to the charity of your choice.

    • Same! Happy to do so too (after coxymla gets a key first, of course)

      • +1

I've sent coxymla mine, hope you get one soon :)

  • Some of these games are super niche and pricey, like the witness and EU4. Both fantastic games

But they're also the type of games that if you knew you're into them, you would've gotten them.

  • No Plague, no deal !!!

  • +1

Killing floor 2 is already $49. The rest of the games are essentially free.

    • Yep, and you can get a lot of playime out of just that if you have a friend or two to come join, bloody tough game if you started notching up the difficulty level though!

  • Anyone have leftover keys for Agents Of Mayhem, Pikuniku, Sniper Elite 3, Superhot, Into The Breach or Totally Accurate Battle Simulator?
