[Switch] 85% Off : Death Squared $2.24, Super One More Jump: $1.19, OTTTD $1.49 @ Nintendo eShop

450

Greetings everyone, SMG Studio has dropped the price on these popular games once again. Even though the prices are slightly higher than recent, these are still really awesome prices for these games and a great way to support an Australian Dev during these tough times!

Death Squared has been my go to game as of late, it's so awesome!

Death Squared for $2.24.

Prove your teamwork skills in Death Squared as you solve puzzles together or die trying! Each player needs to guide a robot to a colour-coded goal, but the path is beset with deadly traps and hazards. Teams of players will need close observation and communication to keep each other alive and discover a solution together.

Complete the main campaign with one or two players, then take a group into four-player Party Mode for the ultimate teamwork trial! For those that can't get enough, head to the 'Vault' to find extra experiments recommended only for the brave.

Features:

  • a micro-journey of: surprise > discovery > mastery > success
  • Full voice acting by Rice Pirate
  • 80x puzzling levels in the Story levels
  • 40x 4 Player Party levels
  • 30x Vault Levels (too hard for the main game)

Super One More Jump for $1.19

  • Super One More Jump is a hand-crafted intense arcade platformer.
  • Simple to learn one button controls. Hard to master levels.
  • Test your muscle memory, concentration and sanity!
  • Features: Now fully reworked & upgraded for the Nintendo Switch!
  • 100+ Hand crafted levels
  • Insanely-hard challenge levels! (Seriously, enter at own risk..)
  • Endless mode: New random level every play!
  • 2 player vs. mode. Compete for the highest score & glory!
  • Up to 4 players crazy co-op mode
  • Original music soundtrack by Batterie

OTTTD: Over The Top Tower Defense for $1.49.

  • A Tower Defense/RTS game with RPG elements • From the team behind Death Squared & Super One More Jump
  • Take command of HEROCORP™ and launch a Preemptive Defense Campaign™ against parallel dimensions in OTTTD, the most outrageous Tower Defense title.
  • OTTTD stands for Over The Top Tower Defense, and you'll see why when you're blasting 9 kinds of hell out of a floating robot shark that's making a beeline for your HQ.
  • You play as a commander for HEROCORP™, the 4th largest private military organization in the galaxy.
  • Your job is to “preemptively defend” the Earth against alien dimensions BEFORE they attack Earth. Make sure to come in under budget and fill out the TPS reports in triplicate!
  • Is "preemptively defending Earth" ethical? It doesn't matter, your responsibility is to the shareholders!

As always, enjoy :)

Own them all, all are excellent.

Sigh I didn't buy a switch to play mobile games >_<

    • +5

      Then don't get them?

      • I got my switch to play FUN games. That's all that should matter. And DS and SOMJ were Switch/console first games anyway. :/

        • +1

Death Squared is dope. Haven't sunk my teeth into the other two yet, despite having then in my digital pile of shame…

  • Eeh I picked these up last big special and honestly think SOMJ and OTTTD are really only worth $1.50.

      Death squared is great though

I got DS last deal - it's absolutely worth your 224 cents. Some super mind bending puzzles for 4 players while still being very achievable.

  • I'm trying to build up my Switch collection until a sub-$300 Switch deal comes around - but my account is on my brothers' console and it won't let me buy games he already owns on the website.

Is there a way around this? Would like to pick up Super One More Jump.

    • A sub-$300 switch deal is not happening any time soon given supply issues of Switches (exacerbated by weakening AUD).

      • Oh, I didn't realize there was a supply issue! But happy to wait even 6-12 months. What do you think the best price would be at the moment?

        Thanks for the info!

        • What do you think the best price would be at the moment?

Right now? At full price - since stock is selling so quick, the next best option is to pay scalpers' prices.

I believe near the end of the year would be best. I got mine for $340 with Mario Kart 8 in November last year.

          • @silverrat23: Thank you!
I think that'll be the go for me then, late year! Personally can't justify an extra $150-200 for the next 9 or so months of play.

    • Ohh interesting challenge. I will say (as the dev) we will be on sale again within the next 6 months so don't worry too much about missing the deal.

To everyone else reading PLEASE buy the games hahah

    Thanks for posting!

Hi it's Ash the studio head of SMG (we're located in Sydney and Melbourne) so if you have any Q's about the games let us know.

We're all working from home now (have for the last 2 weeks) and running this sale for everyone else chilling with the family and looking for something fun to play.

Really looking forward to moving out guys.

      Oh heck!
I didn't realise you were the team behind Moving Out as well!!

Recently downloaded the demo to play with the GF in lockdown and we had fun on a friend's recommendation.

Any chance you'll do another one of those frustratingly sneaky ASMR videos for free codes? 🙃🤷‍♂️

      • hahaha no ASMR videos. I got in trouble for adding codes in the video as they went so fast hahah But hope we can do some silly ideas to promote it post release too.

And thanks. Moving Out should be our biggest hit yet!! Fingers crossed!
