Looking for Best Value Gaming Table and Chair

Hi OzBargainers.

I live in remote Queensland for work and luckily NBN connection is stable and strong. However I couldn't bring my old table and chair which I used for work, study and gaming from Brisbane (which I was going to replace soon anyway). Therefore I need recommendations on a good gaming desk and chair that is value for money. I'm not rich but I am willing to spend that little bit more on good quality equipment.

Budget is max $300 for the table and $200 for the chair

        what is the difference between a gaming desk and a regular desk?

          Something really important for me personally is that the height can be easily adjustable - and most, if not all gaming desks do this. I've been forced to work from home and spend pretty much most of the day on a desk. This isn't really related but compared to normal height-adjustable desks, some gaming desks have pretty long warranties of up to 10 years, giving me peace of mind in case something goes wrong. Dunno, just my cup of tea.

            @tacos4brekkie: And do these fantastic tables fall within your budget. If yes, then buy one. If no, then look on gumtree…..as already suggested (or did you think i meant for you to drop a gumtree and fashion one out of the trunk?)

              @oscargamer: Gotcha… Was more asking for specific products on the market since I'm not great at choosing these kinds of things myself… But thanks, appreciate the help. Would definitely be cool to fashion one out of a gumtree one day.

    I just built the Alex / Linnmon desk from Ikea which is 200cm - really great for a clean set up. I didn't install the centre leg as my PC is over one of the desks (and weighs over 20kg due custom loop water cooled). I've got an X34P in the centre and havent noticed any bend in the desk so far.

    Cost was just over $300.
