Xiaomi Smartmi Smart Toilet Seat tripping overload protection

Just wondering if anyone has had troubles with the smart toilet seat system.
Everything has been working fine for 2 years but last week the built-in overload switch began tripping. I can rest it but it trips again after a few minutes.

    Yeah don’t play with that switch anymore. The safety feature is working now.

    God forbid, none wants to find you still in the toilet being electrocuted by a stream of water in the anus. What a way to go out.

      possibly, but there are other possible reasons - I'm going to pull off the water filter and check it isn't blocked - it could be the water heater getting too hot if there is no water getting to the heating element.

    If it's tripping out it could be high on Hydrogen Sulphide.
