When was the last time the government gave away something for free?
Do you think all the people at Centrelink are queueing there to buy something?
Social Security is now considered "free"? That's really stretching it.
Last I checked, that money was coming out of the pockets of Australian people. I do not recall any government funding Centrelink from tax cuts their wealthy billionaire friends receive or from money made by abusing negative gearing on all the investment properties these politicians own.

It would be nice if the app also showed:
1) the number of deaths in each state.
2) infection curve
personally, i'd like to know the ages & sex of those who have recovered & have passed. i think that kind of information should be public.
Depends which state you are in NSW Health website provides this data daily, the recovery rates are questionable as they state they do not currently track those
The good thing is it shows number of ages confirmed cases by gender as well.

The infection curve is the first chart, the charts are interactive also, click on the points of interest.
Thank God for this, because there hasn't been nearly enough coverage in the regular media. 😉

I don’t really have much faith in the Morrison government in regards to Corona. They’re caring purely about the economy and it shows.
The doctor from the ABC who has his own podcast has been much more informative and not wrong either.
Where as Morrison has been wrong every second day.
Morrison was waiting to let all the coronavirus carriers in the country before moving on to make a decision.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing. I'm sure the government are relying on highly educated and experienced people to provide them advice.
Politicians don’t always follow advice. I’m not mistrusting of the government workers. I don’t trust their bosses to follow the advice. Major difference.
