Im going to wait for the next edition. These are not sweat proof and lack wings, thus not great for bike riding or training. Hopefully Sony introduces at least ipx4 in their new release and includes options that are a bit more stable. I ended up getting SoundPeats TrueWings for this purpose instead. I'm yet to use them in the shower but apparently they should be good for it.

that I have a problem with… Dont speak for the general public based on your own views, a huge reason i bought this on release was for its ANC for taking the train everyday in sydney. And it's by far the best ANC in any small form factor earphones.

I already have the WH-1000XM3, which are great, so not sure I needed these, but they might be more convenient to travel with.
NC isn't as good as the over ear ones. I personal use qc25 on the plane. Uses these ear ins for everything else.

Hows the mic quality. I take a lot of calls for work and tried jabra and taotronics anc. Both mics were really bad capturing a lot of ambient noise. From what i heard airpods seem to be best for mic quality in buds. Any comments on these ?

Agree with everyone else above. It's only good in a quiet space. Using it outside or in the office isn't great because it picks up all the ambient noise so ends up really noisy for the person on the other end

@John Kimble: I disagree.. If the reason a person is buying these is noise cancellation plus sound quality only, there are other options. I know a few of people who bought these for only that reason.
If you are buying for wireless or mic, those options aren't for you. If you need it at $200, the Sony's may be the option for you.
There's a "me too" effect on noise cancelling headphones but they're not the right product for everyone. It's those people I'm speaking to.

Just to be clear: I don't think it is fair to compare these to Sony Wh-1000XM3 or Bose Q35 or any other wireless headphones.
They are wireless earbuds and for me, thats the only product I would compare them to.
If you are just talking about wireless headphones in general, sure 100% agree and no one else disagrees there are better options but I'd imagine majority of people understand this.

Bought samsung buds few days ago in ebay deal @ 130 but now bought this as well(after seeing good reviews)… main objective is comfort , good audio quality and workout. So will see which one better suite me.

These are not good for working out. The design of these make the bulk of the earbud stick outside of your ears without any support. Any physical motion will make these at the very least unseal and at most fall out. You could always keep both, the Galaxy buds for working out and the Sonys for everything else.
