I don't know what features you are looking for but try KeePass. It's a bit ugly, but it uses one of the most secure encryptions in the world.
Unfortunately, none of the FOSS alternatives have the same level of browser integration or ease of use on mac.
Well, it's a trade off between convenience and security. I prefer security.

The 1Password website says they use AES. The entire keychain algorithm is published on their website.

Last Pass is free, I can't live without it.
I'm also a Lastpass user, although storing your passwords on the cloud also poses a major security issue. As such I wouldn't place the same amount of trust in LastPass as I would say, a locally kept database that is stored on your PC or USB key.

The problem with 1Password is that you don't know how secure your passwords actually are because the encryption is proprietary. You can get free software that does the same job and is more secure that 1Password, the only thing is that the GUI doesn't look as nice and it doesn't have available versions on the iOS and Android.
