[QLD] Half Price Growler Fills @ Ballistic Beer, Springfield & Salisbury

120

Ballistic Beer is doing half price growler fills until their kegs are empty at both their large venues (brewery in Salisbury and kitchen in Springfield). Prices range from $11-$20 I believe.
If you don't have a vessel already, they sell branded ones for $15.
Cracking local beer, support your local through this time! #keeplocalalive

  • At least one pub in SA was doing growlers for $10 including the growler for $10 yesterday on any tapped beer.

    • Saw that one - it was almost entirely macro stuff, the true craft ones were only session ales.

  • Well that explains who owns that red piece of shit!

    • The HOT-944?
There's a video somewhere on LI showing them driving it through the bar area (emptied to create a drive through). Good initiative gents…

I've seen it out at Springfield. $100k back in 1980's money I believe, slow as s**t!

Their beers are horrible .. do not bother filling up your growler here

(disclaimer: this is not fact and is being written so that i do not miss out on a refill from my favourite craft brewers due to everyone else getting there first)

    • haha, love the disclaimer.

    • You had me in the first half, not gonna lie.

      • Me too. I read the first half and mentally cooked the popcorn, getting ready for some spicey ozb wars of the minds.

  • Sorry to be a party pooper, but this is not allowed under the current restrictions

Interesting. So you could buy one there and be fine, but bringing your own could get the venue in trouble.

        Yep

    • Can confirm they are still filling growlers you bring, but they sanitise them first and every time they use a hose they sanitise that too. Seems to be common sense rather than forcing people to hand over their branded growlers.
