I recently booked an airbnb worth over $200 and fulfilled the conditions for Westpac Extra Rewards cashback of $50 after 7 days. It's now past 7 days and I've received the cashback.
If I cancel it now because of coronavirus restrictions then it will only be a $50 spend which is less then the initial conditions for Westpac Extra Rewards.
Does anyone know if Westpac is within their rights to clawback the $50 cashback if I cancel? Should I reschedule and keep the $50 cashback?
So should I try and reschedule?
I don't want to ask Westpac in case they forget and I get to keep the cashback anyway.
What do the westpac t&c say?
