Not at all. Just login and they'll be ready to download when you setup the Quest.
Quest sales are always so bad. I think it would end up being cheaper to buy an oculus link when its back in stock and buy your games on Steam.
It is. Games on the Quest store are way over priced and I'm surprised Oculus haven't done more specials. I haven't bought anything on the Quest store as every thing on Steam VR or Humble is way way cheaper.
Might as well buy a Rift S then.

Yes but one of the main reasons to get quest over the rift s is no need for a $2k gaming PC.
If your always going to be tethered, generally the recommendation would be to get a rift s and enjoy the better comfort and (pcvr) performance.
I bought the Quest before I had a gaming PC. And only a $800-$900 gaming PC, which runs every VR game without issue
I bought superhot for full price $38 about three hours before the discount :(
