  • Which stores are offering delivery at the moment?

    • +1

  • +20

    The prices are totally outrageous

  • Are they still taking 30% commission off he stores ?

  • +8

    Rip off prices

  • +2

It worked but the prices are ridiculous

  • Have used Coles via Uber Eats before and it's been really good. Shame Coles aren't doing it right now.

    • Coles charges a packing fee on top of a delivery fee

  • "This account is not eligible for promotions" :(

    • +8

That means you've been data matched with other accounts.

  • +2

Bubble O Bill for $5.50? Yeah nah

  • +1

its ridiculous, i feel bad that the only time i would ever use this is to buy an overpriced powerade is i was really wanting it. what a waste of delivery for 1 item, but lets be honest nobody is going to do much more shopping at these servo prices for more than 1 item.

As usual 'We're not available right now' after like 10pm everyday so you can't do anything on ubereats. How is that even acceptable?

    • +6

I know right! All restaurants and food stores should be open 24/7. Those working in the selfish stores who close and goto sleep in the middle of the night should be locked up. [/sarcasm]

      • +1

I'm talking about the ubereats interface not restaurants. I can't even go in there to add the coupon let alone browse any food or do anything. It is ridiculous for a company of this magnitude to shut their website/app every night

        • Wonder if it's to do with the demand for things to be delivered at the moment .. Never needed anything past normal dinner time so can't comment if this was the same prior to the human malware issue…

          • @scud70: It's been like that everyday, nothing to do with the current situation. I don't know why nobody else is complaining

        • Uber eats has always been available for me any hour of the night, even in smaller towns

          • @realfancyman: Oh so it is only me or may be my location Townsville, QLD which is not even small. I should try setting my address to Adelaide tonight to see if its any different

            • @sub102: lol "Townsville which is not even small". Mate you live in a city under 200k population, please tell me more about your thriving night time economy and all the people keen to be awake at 2am to deliver you food

              • @isaac-newtown: Night is dead here i know still it is doesn't fall in to the 'smaller towns' category as mentioned above. Largest city in northern Australia mind you. Anyway to the point, there's no reason for Ubereats website/app to be not available

  • Damn, clicked on positive too early before commenting. No deal

    + Free Delivery
    - Expensive items, nothing worth using the free delivery for

  • +2

    I'll just go there myself

I think they will make most out of covid 19 because they do not charge fees will increase volume of their delivery and will make 35% plus gst on food you will be buying on it.

    • I dunno.
It's one extra person handling your delivery that has also been all over the place interacting with loads of other people.

As the virus keeps spreading I can see people becoming a little more wary.

  • maccas pops up on my "groceries"

    • same with mine - code doesnt work for it though.

    • Doesn't work tho

    • You can buy 5 cherry tomatoes for $4 from Maccas

  • My local coles is on Uber eats although of course that is excluded as they have reasonable prices ….

    • It is Coles that has opted to shut down its Uber eats and C+C functionality for the timebeing, since they're working towards a priority service for vulnerable and isolated people. Don't even think they're doing normal deliveries at this point in time either

  • Oh wow, usually these don’t work for me, but this time it did! Thanks OP

  • toilet pappar delivered?

  • Chips $60, drinks $90 and yeah nah, no mate!

  • Sweet. My cars in the shop and I'm off work. Getting coffee delivered for the rest of the week. I hope it's hot lol

  • cant even find coffee in any my local options, only overpriced ice cream and chips
