how do you take this back into the store if you dont want it?

    • Pretty sure they get a second-hand store to pick them up and they sell them.

I bought one of these last time they went on sale. The top of the mattress has started to raise, sort of like an air pocket. It is only on my side but it is pretty annoying and past the 60 days.

    10/10 would not buy again.

The 60 days satisfaction guarantee has nothing to do with the warranty. That should have been at least 1 year.

If it’s defective then you are protected by the consumer guarantee laws on products. It should work as expected and have no faults. You’re protected for a “reasonable period” which is what the reasonable person would expect the product to last. I’d guess a mattress is expected to last at least a couple of years.

  • Are these more Firm or Plush?

    • It fits in a box. Regardless their description I suggest you're looking at stupidly soft, extremely soft or insanely soft.

Go buy a real mattress. One that isn't in a box.

      • They are actually pretty decent. Using one atm on milk crates.

        • I slept on one for 2 weeks over the summer, worst two weeks of my life. Was like sleeping on a concrete bed. I much prefer the zz atelier mattresses, much more comfortable.
People might say 'through this in your guest bedroom', only if you hate your guests.

      • Your assumptions are very, very wrong. You don't just open the box and it whacks you in the face you got to wait several days for it to form its shape. Many people say its far more on the firmer side.

Well, I laid on one at ~ten months old and it was stupidly soft

          • @justtoreply: Interesting, I was reading multiple reviews and nobody said it was nearly as soft as your describing

I bought it last time. It's not bad, but wouldn't buy again. After 1 year it started to collapse on one side already.
    Definitely not firm.

OP, can you upload all catalogue pages please?

zzz atelier is the ozbargain favourite and it's a better product for similar prices, I'm waiting for next sale for it

Think about it! It's made to fit in a box. Therefore it isn't made in a way that it can hold its shape in the long term.

The fact it fits in a box is largely irrelevant to the end user.

Our relatives bought one (idiots) and have had to warrant it within a year.

These mattress posts are so stupid as ozb'ers are being led into dumb purchases by herd mentality. A real mattress will last many years. Unless it's for a guest bedroom then a mattress in a box will cost more in the long run.

  • So your assessment of these is not from trial and error but from your logic and reasoning? Wouldn't someone who used logic and reasoning perform an experiment and buy one, afterall they cost buggar all. You might be surprised at the results, I know I was. Zzz atelier are bang for buck beds. Herd mentality, wouldn't exist if reviews weren't overall positive, the herd is right in buying a product that others have had success with at any price point. But hey, keep buying $1k to $3k beds, throwing your hard earned away because you think you are getting a premium product, of which you aren't even really sure, because you never cut open your new mattress to find out what's inside.

    • Happy with my $800 mattress that lasted 10 years. Need to replace it with the same when I get time to find what the current version of it is.

I've actually used it 15 years now.. There's always something higher priority to do rush replace it. I'll probably have it another 5 to 10 years at this rate (which is admittedly stupid)
