Seem a decent price for the shaver considering it is still $499 on Panasonics website.
Shaver Shop also sell the ES-LV97 (same shaver but also includes the cleaning/charging station) however it is $549.95. I highly doubt the station is worth the extra $349.95.

I've been using this model since early 2017 and it's great. I had the Panasonic Arc4 model which is basically the 4 blade version of this but the 5th blade honestly makes a noticeable difference.
After having a BRAUN for 15 years (still works) i was given a Panasonic for Christmas.
Not overly impressed. The ancient BRAUN still gived a better shave.

Well keep your shaver, the new one only lasted me 1.5 year each due to battery problem.

How does returning the product work?
2 main issues i have apart from the shave quality.
+++ - The Pop Up Trimmer is in a weird position, so you cant actually see with any confidence where it is cutting. Especially useful if you have lines that you need to keep precise everyday etc.
+++ - The shaver cannot run on mains power independently. The BRAUN, the battery started to die after 5 years i think. I have basically ran it on MAINS power for the past 10+ years.
PS: Check on the price of replacement foils and cutters, The Braun is around $50. I replace them twice per year.
I bought the Panasonic ES-LA63-S 4 blade shaver 10 years ago and the battery on it is holding up great i replaced the foil and cutters along the way, every time i see these Panasonic 5 blade shavers I'm tempted to upgrade but my current one is still going strong.
I paid $259 in late November for the version with clean/charge station on the Shaver Shop eBay store.
Has been a great shaver so far!
