  • Wow, check eBay. Sure, might be grey imports, but how often do u need warranty and how easy would it be to claim warranty from this site?

Just having a look from the other items I can tell this isn't much of a bargain. $5 for a generic iPod cable! U can get 5 of them from dealextreme for that price, and probably better quality too (this one looks like it has one of those bad quality connectors). Yuck!

check eBay. Sure, might be grey imports,

      More likley they are fake.

On the fake ones the writing will rub off of the brush, bristles can come out and the brush heads are not built as well so can come apart while you are using them.

If they are fake the bristles can also be made of any material and made too hard which could lead to gum problems or teeth damage.

  • Have bought these previously off ebay and they were terrible! They literally died after a couple of weeks. I would never do it again. If you've had a good experience with eBay sellers of Oral B toothbrush heads please let us know.

    • I've bought quite a few off ebay over the years and have had no problems.

    • +1

me too - I bought some "genuine" ones off of Ebay. Compared side-by-side to the ones I bought from Shaver Shop indicates Oral-B uses chimpanzees to build the ones sold on Ebay. Pieces of crap

    • I also had bad quality brush head off eBay before. The head become loose after a few weeks and cannot clean effectively anymore. Now I would wait until Shavers Shop to have these things on sale. It's still rip off prices but dentists would be more expensive.

  • I got some off ebay…writing doesnt rub off, but the bristles seem thicker than the original ones I had. Aside from that, they seem to be OK, so not really sure if they are legit or not.

    • I got some off ebay…writing doesnt rub off,

I dont think all fakes will have poor quality writing but if it does rub off you know for sure you have a fake.

but the bristles seem thicker than the original ones

I would think that thicker bristles will not clean your teeth as well.
Smaller bristles will be able to get into smaller gaps and clean out pieces of food better than a thick bristle.

      • Actually checked over the weekend - the precision brushes have been changed and now have more bristles (not thicker ones like I said) and look identical to the ones Ive got. So pretty satisfied now, that the ones I got were actually genuine.

Shaver Shop got the 4 pack (3+1) for $18.50, which costs $0.23 more per head than this deal but I'd rather pay a lit bit more from stores that I can trust.
And sometime Shaver Shop have it on special for $15, stock up when you see it, I still got a few packs left as I only use one pack per year.

  • Have bought these off of Ebay for 3 years now and never once had a problem (have always ordered from within Australia). I typically pay about 10 or 12 bucks shipped for ten brush heads. No warranty, but hey, it's 10 bucks.

  • comparing genuine items to the cheap cheap ones on ebay tho isn't comparing apples with apples :/

    • You might want to compare your your idiom usage to others and notice a slight difference ;)

  • If the bid on eBay says "Genuine" and it is not you can easily get your money back through PayPal.
Wouldn't touch anything that is not genuine, this is your teeth we are talking about here!

Anyway good price compared to normal retail!
