    Aaaaaand…. it’s gone.

  • Damn that's cheap

  • Hoarding? What a C8&t

  • look at those stocked shelves … Panic buyers must be going nuts tryign to get there!

    • They be on their way now

    • I mean, funnily enough noone's really buying the chocolate and lollies at my local. They just seem to going for all that boring stuff like pasta and flour.

Start loading up your trolley with them… make it look like your frantic, then see how long the rest of it take to clear out when others see you doing that .. :P

        • Oh please, that's basically the last aisle left with stock in the whole shop!! Genius idea though, would be interested to see how it would pan out lol.

        • Don’t encourage panic buying!

      • Chocolate is actually a great ration option if people were being serious about stockpiling

I like the "gotta take a quick shot before someone sees me" angle.

  • stock up?

Any of the sugar free products will start to change flavour about 2 weeks after the best before date.

    • You've gotta be kidding me right.
I opened a Coke Orange no sugar that was so far out of date and it still tasted good.

Queue jokes about the flavour change making it taste better - but was I the only one that actually liked the Orange flavour?

      • No, I'm not kidding. GF has 20 years experience in the flavoured sugar water industry and the BB is real. The full sugar version lasts a lot longer after the BB. I didn't believe her either but she got me to do a taste test of Coke no sugar. One of them was 6 months old and even my crap taste buds could tell on the first sip.

        • Well to be fair, I was halfway through a bottle of Bourbon when we ran out and I realise I had that in the back of the cupboard, so my taste buds weren't probably functioning well but I couldn't taste the difference (with or without bourbon).

          • @pennypincher98: That's your prerogative. No biggy. It's not like it will kill you.

I can get 3 rum & cokes out of a 250ml can so I don't taste it under those circumstances either.

You've just prodded me into checking the one can I had left in the fridge. It's BB 22/11/19 so I better crack into it and have a few rums. Maybe it will kill some COVID19 germs. :-)

edit: having Bundy small batch vintage

            • @brad1-8tsi: Yeah exactly.

Hmmm, yeah I don't normally do cans but that sounds about reasonable.
BB 22/11/19 is not even 4 months out but if you want could have some germ killing skills :D

      • It's pretty luck of the draw - I bought a carton of diet coke on clearance, a month before BB date. Most of them were fine but tasted slightly different, but a few of them were rancid and tasted like vinegar.

    • Can't agree more, but I've found it's a lot earlier. I really think it starts to happen about a month out. Starts tasting like fizzy water.

No calories in these ones, how are you going to survive the apocalypse with this?!

    • Apparently petrol has over 9 million calories per litre. So if you drink a litre of it, it should last you more than 13 years!

  • Useless post. I can't wipe my ass with this

  • Drank two cans November 2019, have not slept since.

  • Thanks for sharing.
