Just got this from Amazon. I think its a good deal as other places are offering > AUD $150. Only downside is that shipping cos appox USD$18. But in the end still works out cheaper.

just because it is cheaper, doesnt mean that this isnt a bargain. If i can buy a netbook for 40 bucks, it's still a bargain, regardless of the fact the place around the corner may be selling it for $39.95. Surely that's not a reason for a neg?

People aren't physically hurt when I vote negative on something. It's not an attempt to punish or offend them. I'm voting on a deal - a deal that is the normal price it always is and can be found cheaper elsewhere.
Some people might find value in it, but a bargain it is not.
What you are saying makes sense. A "bargain" is both comparative and subjective. However, Ozbargain is all about finding the cheapest price on a given product/service. If somewhere else is cheaper (including postage and all other fees) then a negative vote is warranted.
