Man, the reusable nappies we bought but never used (because screw scraping poo of a nappy and washing it) are going to finally pay off.
Bro, you use nappy liners!
These ones have inserts.
So the ones I uses, have the absorbing insert, that goes into the button up nappy. So you place the bamboo liner over the white of the nappy to “catch” the poo.
Inevitably he liner may scrunch or not be wide enough to catch it all. But it catches most of it and only leaves the edges of the nappy dirty most of the time.
But if your baby does those really soft yuck poos right now, I’d suggest sticking with disposable nappies until you know they’re doing harder ones.
Occasionally, if my bub had already done a poo, I take the gamble and just use no liner and hope all poos are done for the next 3 hours.
@cloudy: Mind blown. We’re well past the frequent pop stage - maybe daily now so it’s much less an issue. But those liners would have been good.
